xSession Errors with wxPython

I have a wxPython application that I wrote that is crashing. Sometimes I
get a Bug Buddy report when it does. I'm not sure if this is a problem
related to my wxPython code or not, so I apologize if this isn't an
appropriate question for this list. I've pasted the beginning of the Bug
Buddy output at the bottom of this e-mail. (The output in its entirety is
very long, but I can send the rest of it if anyone wants it.)

The problem is not easily reproducible. It happens regularly, but I
haven't been able to figure out a specific sequence of things that causes
it, so I don't have a chance of creating a sample app that demonstrates
it. I am really hoping that someone can give me some idea what might be
causing the problem so that I will have a clue of how to start solving it!
Are there some specific calls or things I might be doing that would
generate this sort of error? I don't even understand what it is trying to
tell me.

Thanks,
Shari

Which Linux distro are you using? Also, which wxPython and Python versions? Try copying and pasting the phrase "Buggy client sent a _NET_ACTIVE_WINDOW message with a timestamp of 0" into Google. There's lots of weird hits on it, although I can't tell if they're related to what you're doing or not.

This might be helpful if you use Compiz: http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-609433.html

Mike

My system is running Fedora Core 8. My wxPython is version 2.8.9.1, and my
Python is version 2.5.1. I did try pasting the error into Google, but
nothing that came up was particularly useful. I will keep digging in those
results. I am not using Compiz.

Thank you!
Shari
