I will have a bash at tracking the cause down.
I also had difficulty with the .bz2 source file.
PowerZip is able to handle it. Plus there are the command line bzip2
and tar programs available for free.
The problem is that all of these bz2 unpacking programs retain the line endings
which are Unix style and therefore not able to be handled by the MS IDEs
The MS commandline tools seem to handle them ok.
WinZip will do "LF" to "CR LF" conversions on the fly.
I will try out PowerZip.
BTW thank you for wxPython. It is great. I have wxPython running as
a Plugin DLL to my C++ Application. I actually used your embedded example
as a guide.
