I found some messages from the mailing list regarding filebrowsebutton not rendering. It was suggested that a multiprocessor machine may be the culprit. Most folks seemed to have no problems on Win2k but there were problems on WinNt.
I am having the same problems on Win98 (works fine in Win2k). This came about with upgrades to the latest Python and wxPython libraries. I didn’t see any resolution and was wondering if the issue was ever worked it out. Should I file a bug report? I can’t release my project until this is fixed

Without being able to duplicate it I am unable to fix it. IIRC, there was a
workaround mentioned, but I dont' remember what it was.
Since it is all Python code then anybody who is experiencing the problem
should be able to fix it and send me a patch. <hint, hint> You may also
want to try the 2.3.3 preview to see if it is still there. There was some
changes made that may affect this.
