It’s been too long ago since I dabbled with Debian that I can help you much with your apt package files. Sorry.
But I think that this is really a question you should ask on the Linux distribution mailing lists of the Linux version which you use, or the Debian mailing list.
It’s got nothing to do with wxPython proper, really…
