Window identifiers

Question:

Most window identifiers (id’s) are in lower case.
I noticed that the following window identifiers (ID) are in upper case.
wx.lib.statbmp.GenStaticBitmap
wx.lib.stattext.GenStaticText

Is this deliberate and if yes, why?
