Hello NG,
Robin has asked me to create a new Wiki page which includes some
guidelines to help wxWidgets/wxPython users in porting wxWidgets controls
and applications to wxPython. This guide is not really an How-To, because
there is not a standard strategy to convert the code from C++ to Python:
however, I made this page based on my past experiences (you know how maniac
I am about new widgets... ). You can find it here:
http://wiki.wxpython.org/index.cgi/Porting_20Widgets_20From_20C_2b_2b
It is linked (for the moment) from the Other Docs Wiki page,
http://wiki.wxpython.org/index.cgi/Other_20Docs. It is still the first
version, so I am waiting for Robin's suggestions and comments. However, I
will be glad to hear your opinions on how to improve/fix it and eventually
about missing ideas/guidelines.
Thanks in advance.
Andrea.
