Wiki keeps going down

Hi,

The wiki keeps going down lately, with the main wxpython.org site still accessible. This has happened 3 times *as* I press the "submit edit" button, which is highly annoying, having to go back to re-write my changes.

I’ve never had that happen. Can’t you just hit the back button to “recover” what you did? That usually works fine in Firefox.

What is the nature of the "going down"? Are you getting any moin or apache error messages?

It seems to happen after I've been editing for a while. I'd have the
edit page open, hit "save" and get a "this page cannot be displayed" for
all wiki pages. It usually resolves itself within 30 mins. However,
wxpython.org still works.

I've yet to try today, I thought I'd give editing the wiki a break -
RecentChanges is practically all me, I don't want to get too greedy!

When I was doing my notebook pages last month, I did it mostly in
Notepad++ and just copied and pasted it into the wiki to test and make
sure it looked right. If you know the edit will take a while, why not
just do something like that?

I am sure we will all forgive you for this kind of greed  .
