For some reason I stopped receiving messages from the mail list after
posting the original question. I did not see your responses until I checked
the archive today.
I appreciate both of your responses. In one situation doing nothing seems
to work OK. In the other situation it doesn't. I think that's linked to
whether the text entry dialog is associated with a wx.TreeCtrl() item or
sub-item.
More thinking necessary on this issue.
