What happened to the wx python documentation website

Good day everyone. Since this week, whenever I try to go on the wx python documentation website I am getting a 404 error. Is the website down? And if so, why?

I’m getting errors trying to access the latest pre-release version docs at https://wxpython.org/Phoenix/docs/html/index.html

However I can still access those for version 4.1.1 at https://docs.wxpython.org/

I’m guessing the pre-release docs are automatically generated from the latest changes, but the build process has failed?

The official docs for the latest release are located at https://docs.wxpython.org/. The files at https://wxpython.org/Phoenix/docs/html/index.html are from the auto-builds (where there are new changes in the master branch source tree) and it looks like the last one failed when trying to unpack the archive. Please change your bookmarks to the former link, as the latter are just part of the build automation, could be buggy or missing content, etc.

Thanks for the information, Robin.

I think one thing that causes confusion is that search engines seem to return links to the auto-build docs before the links to the official docs.

yes, thank you very much
