wanted: example of shell/console program

Does anyone here have an example of making a basic "shell" program
with wxPython? Something that brings up a text area in a window
(perhaps using TextCtrl as the basis?), and can provide a
read-eval-print loop?

Do you mean something like
- PyCrust, PyShell (part of the wxPython distro)
- wxPython demo
- DrPython
- PyPE
- psi ( http://spinecho.ze.cx/ > psi)

to just name a few.
