unicode-wxpython really work ?

Does anybody successfully fun wxdemo using unicode-wxpython on windows XP ?
I always got GPF, regardless what version I used.

The ansi version work fine.

Yes, unicode wxPython and the wxPython Demo work fine here.
Running wxPython 2.6.1.0, and Python 2.4, although I know that previous versions also worked fine.

Unicode-wxPython does not work on windows when I set "Language for non-Unicode programs" to Thai
I always get GPF with such configuration.

Control Panel >> Reginal and Language Options >> Advanced >> Language for non-Unicode programs.

Is it a bug or a limitation ? Can it be fixed ? Should it be fixed ?
