We've decided to tweak the new SVN repository layout and to pull wxPython out of wxWidgets. If you have checked out a copy from https://svn.wxwidgets.org/svn/wxWidgets/ you'll want to redo it using https://svn.wxwidgets.org/svn/wx/ instead. wxPython and wxWidgets are in separate subdirs of that URL.
