I need some help manipulating styles in text. The example below can be used to demonstrate the issue.
I am using python3 and wxPython 4.1.1.
The example tries to insert a few paragraphs and then a list of items.
Notice that the code uses BeginParagraphStyle to start a paragraph but the BeginListStyle does not work unless you uncomment the ApplyStyle line. But when you do that, furher switch back to paragraph style does not work.
The ApplyStyle method does this:
ApplyStyle(self, styleDef)
Applies the style sheet to the buffer, matching paragraph styles in the sheet against named styles in the buffer.
This might be useful if the styles have changed. If sheet is None, the sheet set with SetStyleSheet is used. Currently this applies paragraph styles only.

styleDef (wx.richtext.RichTextStyleDefinition) –

This does not look like something you should use to switch styles to write different text, but something that is used when the definitions of the styles change, or I do not understand it correctly.
But you can see that the first three paragraphs that switch between two different paragraph styles did not need the ApplyStyle call to work correctly.
What am I doing wrong, are the definitions incorrect or why can not I insert a list style in the same way as other styles?
