Prevent Windows from playing bell when hitting any key?

Hello,

I’m not the only one having this issue: On Windows, hitting any key in a wxPython application when the focus is not on a widget that can take input… Windows plays the bell sound.

Is there an easy solution, especially for apps that have no menu?
