It came! It finally came!

There are lots of tutorials in the wiki and elsewhere already. Most of the Recipe pages could be considered a micro-tutorial focused on a single subject, but there have been other more comprehensive tutorials put in there over the years too. Some are a bit out of date, but some folks are working on updating them.

The Python-specific reference docs are in progress, and I hope to be able to work on it more now. I'm also making a wiki page that explains how to do the wxPython documentation so others can contribute to this project as well. See http://wiki.wxpython.org/index.cgi/wxPDP for what is ready so far.

Thanks Robin.
Your good faith has never been into question, for me.
I just pointed at what is perceived as a gap in the wxpython docs. I remember there was a free tutorial on Tkinter that a couple of years ago helped me a lot to grasp the basic concepts of gui programming; wxpython in this sense still seems lagging behind. But it's no one's fault, of course.

I'm looking for your book, anyway, and learning by coding

Did you see this page on the wiki:

http://wiki.wxpython.org/index.cgi/AnotherTutorial

I have seen some messages that it is getting updated and at first glance this looks very nice to me.
