Thanks. PyOXIDE looks promising, on a first glance, though I get some glitches. I'll look for SPE.
Hi,
SPE doesn't really run well yet on Mac. The main
reason is the lack of some experienced users with
wxPython for Mac to provide me not only with bug
reports but also who are willing to look together for
a solution. When a problem there is a problem, I
probably can locate it easily in the spe source code
and maybe also even have some suggestions, but as I
don't have a Mac, it is for me quite impossible to
really debug. For the Linux version of SPE there were
enough experienced Linux users, which makes now that
SPE runs fluently on Windows and Linux. So if anybody
in the Mac wxPython community is willing to
collaborate with me on this, SPE should run fine on
Mac soon.
However now I have another personal problem. My laptop
is stolen with the latest version SPE 0.5.1.f on it,
which I had sent already to the Blender folks to
upload it. I hope they will do that. As at the moment
I am completely without computer, I'll have to get the
money first to buy a new one. So SPE will be a bit
quiet for a while... ;-(
