PyDev is a plug-in for Eclipse bringing python development enhancements, it's pretty good and has a nice code-completion that's pretty fast, great for wx. However, it doesn't seem to recognise breakpoints, or allow me to view variables' values during code execution.
I came across a similar problem from the list, posted in 2005. http://archives.devshed.com/forums/python-122/eclipse-pydev-wxpython-148535.html
Robin asked, "Which version of wxPython on which platform? There were some similar difficulties in the past with other debuggers and wxPython but those have all be resolved as far as I know.",
but no reply was received, so I thought I'd just ask here. My symptoms are the same as the OP above.
Ubuntu 9.04, kernel 2.6.28-11-generic x86_64 GNU/Linux
wxPython 2.8.9.1
python 2.6.2
cheers all
