A “Thanks to” window with vertical scrolling of the text

Here’s a “Thanks to” window with vertical scrolling and fading text.
You also have the option to add or remove the background image…

This new widget has been successfully tested on the following platforms:

My personal favourite of the new tools, you’ve added to the WxPython toolbox.

Maybe it could be an idea to gather all those custom controls in a single package and create an additional tree branch in the wxPython demo showcasing them - similar to what had been done for the AGW package, like a million years ago.

The package’s name is of course up for grab, but maybe in the spirit of AGW (aka Advanced Generic Widgets, aka Andrea Gavana’s Widgets) it could be something like ZZCC (Zig_Zag Custom Controls) or the like…

Why not? This seems like a good suggestion, but I’m not sure I have the knowledge and time to implement it. In the meantime, if anyone wants to take on this task, they’re welcome. The community will appreciate :smiley:
