- if you downloaded the source package wxPythonSrc-blah-blah.tgz, you can
find the demo under wxPython/demo- otherwise, you can always download it separately from here:
Download wxPythonDemo-2.4.1.2.tar.gz (wxPython)
I just created an ebuild for Gentoo users so they can emerge the wxPythonDemo. The ebuild that installs wxPython does not install the demo.
You can get the ebuild here: http://bugs.gentoo.org/attachment.cgi?id=13737&action=view
Save it as wxPythonDemo-2.4.0.2.ebuild (or whatever version you need)
It installs the demo in /usr/share/doc/wxPython-2.4.0.2/
