xp balloon tips on tray

Hello Robert,

  you may try to look at BalloonTip. It's been a while since I have updated the source code, but I see that it still works on wxPython 2.6.3.2 (I am on Windows XP). You can find the code here:

IIRC, it should work also with the toolbar, at least on Windows (I have never tried on other platforms).

thanks, i did look at this. the requirements for this app is that
the balloon tip actually show above the icon in the taskbar, and
unfortunately i cannot get the coordinates of the icon set through
TaskBarIcon. so i had to use Shell_NotifyIcon.
