Just released v0.1.7a of my wxPython property editing distribution. You can find it here:

Primary change is that the grid cell renderers are now working (with wxPython 2.3.3pre2). I created a demo that draws a clock in the "time of day" editor. (That particular demo is currently limited to installations where mx.DateTime is installed).
Strangely, the renderer's reported "BestSize" doesn't seem to get noticed by the grid. Haven't figured out what I'm doing wrong yet.
