Hello Werner,

I also tried the new email package in python 2.3 to create a mime
message but can't feed this to mailto.

Have a look at The Department of Computer Science - Home - New, it a little
email sender I've written
in Python. It might help.

Another option is to use an email command line tool such at blat
(http://www.interlog.com/~tcharron/blat.html)

Don't like this approach as it is another thing to install .
