I know the subject of standalones has been on the list for a long time.
But I'm having hard time running Gordons installer with Python 2.0.
Does anyone have positive experience in this field ?
I've never tried the installer at all, but I did notice an announcement this morning about an updated version for python 2.0.

On GTK, the fonts selected don't work (I can
adjust this no problem).
On both windows and GTK, the text does not
appear until the central region is resized.
This is a known problem in the OGL library, which has probably been there
for a long time. Riaan and I have looked in to it a little bit, but havn't
had time for a real hard look yet. OGL's original author is now busy with
other things, and hasn't actually used OGL on a project for a couple years
or more, and so he didn't have any ideas what the problem could be.
I found that I could get the text to display using the
FormattedText options.
Thanks for the feedback. (And I am sorry that I accidentally
posted to the wrong list).
