[wxPython] Transparent Frame

I would like to make a user interface where the shape is something other
than rectangular. Perhaps even to have a frame like the demo splashscreen,
but have the GIF be round with the rest transparent and the frame background
behind it transparent. Is this possible at all?

Not directly. I think this is something that several people would like to
have, but nobody has implemented a set of classes to do it in a
cross-platform way.
