[wxPython] Python 2.2 and Boa 0.1alpha

Hi all,

win98se, python 2.2, wxpython 2.3.2.1

I also moved to Python 2.2 and have problems with boa 0.1alpha.
In my case, boa crashes when I am leaving the application. I localized a
problem in the method OnCloseWindow() from palette.py. If I put a brute
sys.exit() at the begin of the method, boa ends 'gracefully' but the DOS
window will not be closed. I think, this has probably do to with the
repeated mainloop() stuff.
I want to keep on betatesting boa, but how can I download all the cvs files
from
sourceforge in a single shot and not file after file. Has Sourceforge a
"ftp" access?.
Is it possible to have more intermediate releases (eg a zip file)? I have
only a phone connection.

Boa is really a very good job. It is the application the wxPython community
expects. In my mind the "code/debugging part" is far more important (and
expected) than the "designer part". I should not be wrong, when I see all
these people trying to import wxPython in pythonwin... (a very goog product
too).

Use CVS of course! Are you using the web interface now?
With CVS installed you only type

cvs update

in the project catalog to update everything to the most
recent version.

Check http://www.cvshome.org/ and http://www.wincvs.org/
