[wxPython] Problems with the 2.2.5 distribution

When I try to install the wxPython 2.2.5 distribution (Win32) for either
Python 1.5 or Python 2.0, I get the shaded blue screen, then a dialog
informing me that a corrupt installation was detected. The process
aborts at that point.

This happens on my laptop (Python 1.52) with or without an older version
of wxPython installed, and on my workstation (Python 2.0) which has
never had wxPython installed.

Is there a problem with the distribution? (unlikely)

Or is there a registry entry(s) that need to be manually cleared? (more
likely)

Please help.

  William.

Sounds to me like it might be a transmission error. Which site did you
download it from? Have you tried downloading again?
wxPython-2.2.5-Py20.EXE should be 4,945,903 bytes in size, does yours match?
