Trying to run BOA Constructor on a Mandrake 8.2 I am getting a message
No module named gizmos during startup, and the whole thing fails.
Right now I have installed the following
RPMs wxGTK2.3_1
wxGTK2.3_1-devel
wxGTK2.3_1-gl
all in version 2.3.2-4mdk
wxPython version 2.3.2.1-2mdk
Those are Cooker package as none other works, because of librairies problem. Can anybody help?

Talk to the RPM packager. Looks like he's disabled building of the gizmos
library because of problems with gcc 3.1. (Wouldn't patches to fix the
build have been better than patches to disable functionality?!?!?)
The other option of course would be to get the source RPMs and rebuild them
yourself. You'll need to hack the wxPython.spec to take out the gizmos
disabler patch. I know it will build with gcc upto 3.0.

if someone has a patch to make the gizmos build with gcc3.1 I'll fix the
mandrake rpm of wxPython.
