I don't think you really need to distribute those. I suppose you could use a
real installer (Wise, InstallShield, etc) to do version checking and then
replace them if needed, but I've just been removing those from my
distribution and I haven't had any problems so far.

Installer has detected that this files are needed for wxPython
DCIMAN32.DLL
GLU32.DLL
MSVCIRT.DLL
OPENGL32.DLL
All this DLLs live in windows\system.
Are all this files registered by windows (so I need to restart to replace
for a new version) ???

There is a new version of Gordon McMillan Installer (3j) that is really
great.
This version can manage pyds and dlls inside package.

I checked this new versión with a medium size aplication using wxPython,
mxODBC and mxDateTime.
