[wxPython] key event: MetaDown() always on !?

Hi

as mentioned in the subject, evt.MetaDown() always reports 1 in my key event handlers
(e.g. EVT_KEY_DOWN). Alt, Control and Shift work as expected.

Checked the key with xev, works.

Using RedHat 6.2, XFree 3.3.6, wxPython 2.2.16 (RPMs)

I could ignore the Meta key but perhaps someone knowns about this problem.

Sincerely
  Ralf

Just for interest, this is definitely not the case with the Windows version
(not surprisingly, I guess, given the non-meta(ll)ic nature of most Windows
keyboards :8-)...
