Task Coach users are asking for an iPhone version. Aside from user
interface, ehm, challenges, it would need a wxPython version for the
iPhone. A little googling shows that python is available for the
iPhone. Is the iPhone OS sufficient close to Mac OS X to use a Mac OS
X distribution of wxPython?
Thanks, Frank
PS: I don't own an iPhone at the moment, but this would be a great
excuse to get one

No. Although the OS X core is there, it has a lot of subsystems missing, including Carbon, and there is an extra layer or two in the UI. However there has been some work done towards a wx port to iPhone, so it may be possible eventually.
