It doesn't matter which window has the focus; behavior is always the same.
Due to reasons related to how our software is used, I cannot upgrade to a
newer version without asking everyone else to do the same, which is not
feasible yet. Anyone have any suggestions for a workaround?

Subject: Re: [wxPython] Accelerator table and styled text control
Everything works fine on Windows, but in Linux the entries with
wxACCEL_SHIFT act as if the shift key is not pressed. Is this a known bug?
I
could not find anything in the archives about it.
Is it just when the wxStyledTextCtrl has the focus, or does it happen
everywhere?
Versions: Python 2.0, wxPython 2.2.5, Red Hat Linux 6.2.
I can't duplicate it in my current 2.3.x workspace...
