Hi,
I just installed wxPython.
I would like to develop an application that looks something like the wxOGL demo from the wxPython demo program, with a few extra bits added in.
I looked a bit at the discussion on the list about wxOGL, and I understand that it is no longer under development; actually, the wiki says that it is "dead". From what I gather, FloatCanvas is what is recommended as a replacement.
Does anyone know why wxOGL was abandoned? Lack of interest? Is there some fundamental dead-end with the way it is coded?
Also, is there anyone who is currently working with wxOGL?
Thanks for any info.
JP
