wxDemo Problem: PyPlot

Hello,

I have a problem with that lib when I launch it, I can only see a white frame, graphics is not showed. But if I run another example using pyplot its working fine.

My config: Ubuntu 12.04 64bits, python 2.7 and wxpython 2.8.12.1

Tested with wxdemo from ubuntu repos and the source coce downloaded from wxPython website.

Did you select anything from that frame's Plot menu?

Hello Robin,

I cant select anuthing because when the frame is launched a white screen is showed, nothing more.

What Robin is asking you to do is the following:

1) Launch the PyPlot demo;
2) If there is a menu bar at the top of the new frame, try and select
the "Plot" => "Draw1" menu (or any other sub-menus in the "Plot"
menu);
3) See if anything happens in the plot window.

If nothing happens, or there is no menu bar, then it may be a bug.

If you are running Ubuntu's Unity UI then check the shared menubar at the top of the screen. You may have to mouse over it to make it show up.

thanks for your help... and yes Robin Unity!! I always use Gnome before somethings changes in the new ubuntu..

You are right! all is because the menu goes in the very top... all are working fine now! Sorry!
