I think you are right, it looks like libgnomeprint is installed on my
machine. I was going on the fact that my version of Gnome is 2.14.3
(according to the About Gnome display), and the wxWidgets documentation
says that libgnomeprint suport is in Gnome 2.8. Am I confusing version
numbers?

but I think that if you were getting a postscript DC then you should be
getting an instance of wx.PostScriptDC (since wxPython know about his
class) instead of a plain wx.DC.
