Thanks for all this. I've got the process spawning just fine. That's not
a problem on Windows. Unfortunately, the only signal you can send it is a
hard kill. I just need to get the I/O ironed out. As you've noticed, a
lot of the Unix features are not supported. But it's just a matter of some
work.
