I'm looking for more example code to add to the wxPython documentation
and distribution. My goal is to have one good example for every
aspect of wxPython. The demo does a good job of this, but there are
times when you want to see examples in isolation as well. If you have
any code that would make a good example, please send it directly to me
at pobrien@orbtech.com.
Here are some details:
* Since the code will be part of the documentation, the wxWindows
documentation license will apply. So make sure you agree with it
before you send me code. You can find the license here:
http://www.wxwindows.org/lic_doc.txt
* Don't worry if your code uses the old wxPython syntax, or is less
than perfect. Good examples are hard to find, so I'll take care of
converting it to the new wx syntax, and we'll improve the examples
over time.
* Don't be surprised if I modify your code. I'm very picky and I want
the examples that get distributed to be consistent, and be good
representations of how wxPython should be used. But I'm not perfect
either, so feel free to suggest improvements to any code that gets
included in the examples.
* Your contributions will be greatly appreciated by me, the wxPython
community, and future generations of wxPython programmers. So go
find a good example and send it to me now!
Thanks,
Pat
