Want to thank Mr. Andrea

Hello!

This post doesn't have any question for this great community. I just
felt i had to thank Mr Andrea Gavana for the widgets he has written
for wxPython , because some of them realy made my life easier ( in the
most recent case it was "ThumbnailCtrl" ), and helped me to learn more
about using wxPython! I must also notice that i admire very much
someone who shares his deep knowledge in a field with the "beginners".
Thanks again for everything!!!

Thank you for your kind words, it's obviously always a nice and
pleasant surprise to receive these e-mails. I am happy that you found
the AGW library helpful, although I still feel in debt towards
wxPython for all the marvelous things I was able to create with it.

As an aside, I have heard news that my latest wxPython application (a
wxSTC-editor/integrated help system/simulation monitoring tool for our
proprietary simulation data file format) is probably going to be
presented at the Maersk Oil world conference in October. I don't think
I can get any higher than this, both in spirit and in job-related
accomplishments.

Andrea.

Nice! Any chance of embedding some obnoxious flashing advertisements in the demo version of the application that will be shown at the conference?
