The Vancouver Python Workshop will be held in beautiful Vancouver, Canada on July 31 to August 2, 2004. The keynote speakers will be Guido van Rossum, creator of Python, and Paul Everitt, founder of Zope. Many other Python luminaries will speak and attend.

Since OSCON is being held in Portland, Oregon, July 26-30, Python people that are attending OSCON will probably want to consider attending the Vancouver Python Workshop as well. Vancouver, B.C. is a six hour drive from Portland and it is expected many people will be carpooling from Portland to Vancouver on Friday afternoon after OSCON ends.

Robin is doing two tutorials on wxPython at OSCON as well as a regular presentation and a BOF. Hopefully, Robin will also be able to attend the VanPy Workshop. I certainly will be attending both. The VanPy workshop should be a much better gathering for doing some actual coding...
