Sorry, that wasn't my intention. I am not offended at all, I see that
the majority of users think that the old version is better for a
number of reasons and I obviously will accept it without a blink 
In my view the important point Kevin is making is the accessibility
issue, if this is not handled by the new demo then I don't think it
should be included as the primary demo - anything which makes it easier
for blind persons to use the demo should stay.
I agree with that, I wasn't commenting about this issue. The question
Robin asked was: "do you feel the 'wow' effect"? Or something like
that.
What about just keeping the existing demo as is and adding Andreas's
version as an alternative which people can use if they want to.
I believe the most coherent choice to make is to switch back to the
old one and maybe keep the icons for the tree if everyone feels that
the demo looks better with them, otherwise I would just throw them and
restore the demo as it was on 2.8.3.
