Update to wxpython 3 to fix XP?

Hi Robin,

Any idea when you will be updating wxPython to 3.1 to address the Windows XP issues regarding wx.Locale?

There seem to be a number of us blocked on the release and I personally would appreciate any information on an ETA.

You mentioned in this forum post to use the preview build for XP issues from http://wxpython.kosoftworks.com/preview/20140104/. Since this wasn’t officially created, I’m a bit hesitant to use it (I’m unsure whether I can safely trust that domain).

That is an official preview release done by Robin Dunn, he always
puts them onto that domain.

p.s. if you traverse the URL up and to the side, you’ll find a newer release. I’m not sure the difference but I’m using it:

That is an official preview release done by Robin Dunn, he always
