The issue discussed in the note “Menus work on Windows and Linux but not Mac” of January 2013 Is still an issue for VPython using wxPython 3.0.0. At the time, it was suggested that the problem stems from VPython’s unusual (but essential) replacement of the main loop.
I’ve noticed one other, much less serious issue, which is that I can make visible or invisible the cursor when over an OpenGL canvas on the Mac, but not over the entire frame. This is not a problem on Windows.
