Following update to libxfont1 and xserver-xorg-core as suggested by
Ubuntu automatic updates, wxPython applications fail with X11 fault:
BadAlloc code 11 request 144 minor 5.
I have reported this on Launchpad. It is unfortunate that there does not

appear to be a way of reverting to a previous version.

Hi,

What Ubuntu version? 7.10?

I just perform the update and wxPython work great...

I use Ubuntu 7.10 (uptodate) and Python 2.5, wxPython [2.8.7.1
](http://2.8.7.1)

Mario: It doesn’t work here (see also my other post). Can you run the
wxpython demo?

Christopher: What is the url of the launchpad bug, I’d like to
subscribe as well.
