In the ComboCtrl demo the read-only combo pops up the list of items whenever I click on it. OTOH in the ComboTreeBox demo the read-only style widget doesn't do that, a cursor appears on the text without a list pop up. How can I make that read only ComboTreeBox behave like the read only ComboCtrl?
Also, is there any way in the ComboTreeBox control to specify that the popped up items should already be expanded? My hierarchy is quite small and constant, so it is pretty annoying to expand it every time. Plus the default width of the control is set to the root item, and I would like to get rid of the horizontal scrollbar without wx.EXPAND.
The problem with that is that using wx.EXPAND the arrow that makes the list appear is far to the corner of the dialog, and clicking in the white space doesn't open the list (see the first problem).
In fact, is there any chance of not drawing any collapse/expand node at all, simply draing the hierarchy and letting users scroll up/down?
I tried looking at the api documentation, but the ComboTreeBox is a factory function and I don't see where it is really documented. Searching the mailing list for the word ComboTreeBox doesn't show up any message at all, nor at the wiki(nobody had problems with it so far?).
