BTW I entered the bug under the wxWindows project. Should it have been
under wxPython? I assumed that the wxPython bugs were a subset of the
the wxWindows bugs, but I see now that they are separate.

Good call, Robin. Sure enough, the problem occurs independent of XRC.
I've enter a bug report.

Hi everyone,
Windows 2000, Python2.2
I just upgraded to wxPython2.4.1.2. The only problem that I've noticed is that tooltips defined for tools on a ToolBar in my XRC file that are greater than 40 characters are corrupted. They are displayed with strange characters at the end.
Anyone else notice this?
Does it only happen for tooltips defined in XRC files or also with
tooltips on toolbars created by hand in .py code? Either way please
enter a bug report about it.
