test message

Not sure if I was able to send to the list correctly. Seems to
be hiccuping. But, can we fix the subject header, i.e, restore
the [wxPython] part? Made sorting mail easier.

Personally, I disliked the [wxPython] part. It obscured the important part of the subject, and I sort on the to address, so I don't need it (surely every client can manage this - I'm using Outlook, and I can't imagine a less functional mail splitting facility :-))

But it's not world-shattering, so I'm not too bothered either way.

I do sorting on list stuff into separate mail dirs as well. But for
lower volume lists, I still like to have them in my box (separate mail
dirs doesn't quite catch the attention for new mail like the central
box). But the major advantage is to limit the view using pattern
matching mutt. Helps me navigate stuff all the time. If only there
were a subscription option...

Anyone noticed that none of the wxwin/wxpython mail archives are operating ?
I've tried from the wxwindows.org and wxpython.org sites but no luck.
Any one know when they will be useable again ???

Regards,
Brendan Simon.

Hopefully soon. The archives have been converted, they just aren't accessible yet. It's the next thing on the todo list of my guy at SunSITE. When ready they shoul dbe accessible from http://lists.wxwindows.org/.
