I have used pygame before but am a little loathe to bloat my application
with all that stuff just to play sounds. However it seems like the
easiest route.

I don't quite think it is a good idea to mix wxPython and Tkinter
in the same program 
I will probably just try pygame/sdl and hopefully it will only
suck in the audio dll.
