Hi all,
Just a reminder that the Google Summer of Code program is underway and
that the deadline for submitting proposals is on May 8th. This is a
great opportunity and I urge anyone who qualifies (has college or
university student status) who has some time to work on Open Source
projects this summer to not let it slip away. It should be a great
learning experience, you can help out the project, and just think what
you can do with the extra cash next semester! 
If you want to apply, go to http://code.google.com/soc. We have a list
of suggested projects, but you can submit a proposal for your own ideas
if you prefer.
