code over to my Linux boxes (either Fedora Core 6,
or Gentoo), it seems that the sizers(?) are not
working as the panels and notebook widgets shrink
to barely visible (again, see the screenshot on
webpage).
I didn't try your code on Linux (I don't have one here), but I would
suggest you to call:
YourSizer.Layout()
When you finish adding widgets to a particular sizer. Obviously, if a
sizer is contained in another sizer, it is enough (in theory) to call
Layout() only on the parent sizer. You can try and see what happens.
