I've tried setting the background color on a TextCtrl after I disable it.
I tried calling Refresh and ClearBackground but both were in vain, no effect, I still get the same dark_gray on light_gray... I know this is related to my computer theming BUT isn't there a way to overide it for a specific instance of a widget?
Is what I'm trying to do "illegal"? If so why is there now error/warning message?
