Another thing would be to make it look more like what is proposed by the

FWIW, I too think the http://pysqlite.sourceforge.net/ approach
would be more appropriate for a newbie to deal with, but I'm
not bothered enough to make the change myself, nor to
complain about it. :wink:

I am not complaining. I liked seeing it and it is very interesting to
see other people's approach to such a common problem. :slight_smile:
